HackFlag

For a decade, I've been the founder and administrator of the first and largest Dutch hackers forum with almost 8,000 members.

Tracking through mobile network traffic analysis

I discovered the concerning possibility of profiling people based on the apps that they have installed on their phone. Apps produce distinctive patterns in LTE/4G traffic.

Educational websites

I have created several educational websites, with the goal to provide explanations that are easier to understand than the sometimes insufficient lectures at university.

Internet traffic visualization

I devised a method to visualize internet traffic on LED strips, allowing you to observe your packets flying through the room as you load a website or send a Whatsapp message.

Daddy.Dance

I developed an app to enhance the convenience of watching dancing videos for students.

JShowFlow

I developed a program capable of converting Java code into Control Flow Graphs.

Ellusoft

Throughout my high school years, I ran my own computer support company.

I have finished all courses of this Master's program. Topics in these courses include cryptography, security in software, testing techniques, network security, privacy, security in organizations and tech laws (such as the GDPR). Some of the course were taught at Eindhoven University of Technology (see below). I have also already completed my thesis about mobile network traffic. Currently, I am actively engaged in a research internship, which marks the final phase of my Master's program.

Information Security Technology

Sep 2017 - Aug 2019

Some courses from the Master's program from Radboud University were taught at Eindhoven University of Technology. This was a collaboration between the two universities, formerly known as the TRU/e Cyber Security program. The courses I followed were called Principles of Data Protection, Cryptology, Applied Cryptography, Hackers Hut and Verification of Security Protocols.
